Biologics or Pred ?

Glad that it's going well! You said that your maintenance schedule will be every 2.5 months -- is that every 10 weeks? Usually we are started with every 8 weeks. I don't know that I have ever heard of anyone at 10 wks. You might want to get some clarification about that.

Had my 3rd infusion the other day. Going really well and no side effects. Currently 3 months now in remission. Next infusion is in 2 months, so they are less frequent now. Fingers crossed this keeps me in remission long term. Been relying on Pred far to much down the years to combat my flares and this I hope is my life saver. All good so far

Hey guys. Haven’t posted for a few months, but all positive. I have been in remission now nearly 7 months and 100% the Biologics is the reason. I’m on the infusions every 2.5 months now and have my next one next week. Don’t want to obviously get to excited, but I was only going 3/4 months in remission, then flaring again, then back on the Pred to combat the flare - rinse and repeat. This was a pattern for years. Not to mention my horrendous stint in the hospital last year through severeC-Diff. So, obviously a new Avenue was needed and Biologics was the option. Feeling absolutely fantastic and my body weight back to my healthy gym weight now. I’m getting married in Italy in October and just found out 2 days ago, me and my fiancée are expecting our 1st child on top of the world guys.
