Apriso Savings Card Expiring 3/31/2020

My Apriso Savings Card says it is expiring today, 3/31/2020.

Has this happened before? Did they send a new card?

Generally, the drug manufacturer copay assistance cards renew annually. I'd call and ask them for a new card, or you might be able to print one online.

The only time they do not renew is when the manufacturer also makes a generic, as is the case of lialda.

Definitely call them.

But I think there is a generic now. My blue shield formulary lists a mesalamine ER of . .375 grams. I don’t know how it is compared to Apriso. Or if it’s any cheaper. Apriso moved to a lower level (I.e. cheaper) in my formulary this year so you might check with your insurance company too.
