Nausea after eating

Quick question. Feeling great on xeljanz. 6 days ago started to feel nauseous following eating or drinking anything but water. It happens almost immediately following eating. I have no other colitis symptoms. I guess it could be a virus but I am feeling really well otherwise. Any thoughts?

Does this happen after you eat a meal or even a small snack? Have you tried mint or ginger tea? I’m glad the xeljanz is working but I’m sorry you are dealing with nausea.

Are you taking any supplements? Did you check with your gastroenterologist RE nausea? It could be the start of a liver or pancreas reaction so you might need some lab work to rule those out. (I assume that you've familiarized yourself with possible Xeljanz side effects.) / Old Hat (39 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Just a quick update. Nausea went way after a week!! Maybe a virus not known as covid 19?
