Remicade working well but hair loss

I have been on Remicade since April due to a bad flare and a horrible bout of Yersinia at the same time. Do Well however noticing significant hair loss. It is freaking me out. There are some stressors in life such as building and moving into a new home, my illness and this Covid thing. Please give me any thoughts or ideas. I don't want to go bald.

Any time I flare up, about 3-4 months later my hair starts falling out like crazy and it takes another 3 months or so for it to grow back. It all has to do with how our hair grows and what happens when our bodies are taxed by our illness. University of Michigan made a great series of videos about IBD, meds, and whatnot. This is their video on hair loss, I found it to be very reassuring.

I don't think Remicade is your problem, when having a bad flare, plus the yersinia infection on top of things, it took a toll on your body. Your body wasn't getting the proper nutrition & this will cause hair loss. And in the stress of everything that has been going on in your life it makes a bad combination.

There are some older threads on here about shampoos people used, I can't remember the names. You can use the search feature & pull them up. Your hair will grow back.

There was another post a couple weeks ago with the same question and concern except they had recently began entyvio. So I agree with the others. Not the remicade. As your body heals your hair will grow back
