Have any of you been on Stelara? If so what was/is your experience like?

We've had some success stories on stelara. It's a fairly new med and not a lot of us have tried it yet. It was used 1st with crohn's disease and psoriasis, so a lot more history of successes there!

I started it in September. I've had my loading infusion and do my first at-home injection tomorrow. No results yet (it is early) but no side effects either.

I'm comforted knowing that the data shows it does not increase risk for COVID (and most other infections), so that is one perk.

I started Stelara April 2nd of this year. I have been doing great ever since! I go for a scope on Tuesday to see if I’m healing. I failed Entyvio and Remicade so Stelara has been my life saver!

It's definitely helping me but I think I also suffer from some side effects from it like headaches and diarrhea. Hard to tell!! I have been on it since June and am going to every 4 weeks to see if I can't get everything under control.

smw, how was your scope in November? Are you still seeing the benefits of Stelara?

I just wanted to come back and provide an update to say that at 16 weeks I started having clinical response to Stelara. So don't be too discouraged if you don't see results right away.

Really happy to hear that. I'm likely getting a referral to look at biologics soon.
I haven't responded to Imuran since re-starting. I have been taking Cortiment but missed one dose and all of my symptoms came rushing back so it tells me the Imuran hasn't kicked in. I may ask about increasing the dose before I quit it, but it's discouraging.
I'm quite hesitant about trying biologics but it may be me next option. Also have Pancolitis, currently only inflamed on the right side tho which is weird.
