Calprotectin Results in today

Hey all…so, got my results in today and obviously abnormal since in a early flare but alarmed..showing 686. Now, I just started Asacort HC and Uceris, not even a week into those meds so hoping that will help with the inflammation. First, never been on these drugs before and second, about a month into the flare so hasn’t been going on that long. Hoping it is considered a “Mild” flare and we can stop it now from getting any worse. What do you think? I have been down this road before but in remission since 2016. Scared of those numbers but yet, could be “normal” since there is inflammation going on. I have read posts where folks are seeing numbers in the thousands so maybe mine isn’t SO bad. Eeek…Ease my mind. LOL

Under 700 is actually not that bad, believe it or not. I know it's abnormally high on the test result, but my highest calprotectin was over 40,000. I've seen others that were above 100,000.

If you're under 1,000 you're doing pretty good, keeping in mind that calprotectin is not a super reliable test.
