What to expect and when to worry? I’m down to 5mg this week then stop Tuesday

You can split them in half and go lower dosage during taper. You can also alternate dosage if you have symptoms. Personally, doesnt seem a drop from 5 to 0 is a good plan...considering what I've read on here.

No need to worry. Just follow the instructions from the dr on how to taper and see how you feel.

People who have been on prednisone for a long time (i.e. months) often need a slow taper below 10mg but when you're on a short course it's fine to drop as per the doctor's instructions.
