The UC curse!

I think you can get carried away with cursing conditions in relation to ancestory....every race has genes which are susceptible to some conditions....and while we may here be blaming the UC curse elsewhere people will be writing about the hemochromtosis curse of north europeans or others some other health condition of other races

You are more than the expression of your genes and genetics is as much a probability shoot out as being anyway deterministic

I read your post about getting thrown out over biologics and had to laugh. I had a GI that stood over my bed in the hospital bragging about letting people go because they weren't "compliant" with his Remicade regime. I had just had a fistula break thru, they thought I was septic, I was sicker than a dog... And I still managed to say "You are fired. Get away from me." I was appalled. I still am not sure if it was his attitude, his approach or my fear of biologics.

And then 6 months later I really was septic and on deaths door. New GI and I was rolling up my sleeve saying "Hurry up and just do it!" It's amazing how we all have to learn to bend and not break.

Have you found out how much that test is? I might be interested too.
