We went over my colonoscopy results. Left side UC but said I have Crohn’s because I have stricture deep in tissues at rectum.
Her recommendation, no surgery, that’s her last options even though she I knows I tried all biologics.
She said up my asacol, 2weeks of enemas , rowasa, come back and see her in 4 months to do a flex scope to see where I am at and after that maybe try remicade again.
She said asacol is like a good lotion for the bowels not much gets absorbed.
She want to do a small bowel MRI and bunch of blood work.
I told her I have so much constipation. She said yes with inflammation and stricture makes sense.
Her big thing try Mediterranean diet, no red meat.
I left very hopeful. Since getting my moving bowels moving every day, no blood.
She said sitting stool can cause bleeding?
Just an up date. Thanks for listening.
