Clo. I would not worry about evushield but focus your efforts on getting paxlovid in the event you test positive.
My friend's husband in the US managed to get paxlovid because he is high risk and it appears to be working.

Thanks for posting that. I will concentrate on obtaining that if I get COVID.

It's a relief to know that it works!

I don't know why getting Evusheld is so hard down here. I have to wonder if it's a scarce resource from place to place and it depends more upon your location on if you can get it.

I have a friend who got covid. She is on methotrexate for arthritis. Her covid symptoms were fairly mild (she is vaxxed and boosted) enough that she thought it was allergies at first. She got paxlovid and said her symptoms were completely gone in 2 days.

I’ve been hearing that sometimes symptoms return after finishing the 5 day course. They didn’t for her.

My neighbor told me about a family he knows. They have 2 kids with Downs syndrome who are in their 20s. The whole family just got back from a Florida vacation to Disney World and brought Covid back with them. The whole family is sick, but both parents are very ill and are hospitalized. Not sure who is caring for the kids. Even though they are in the 20s they are not able to care for themselves. Terrible situation.

I hope that more people learn about the antiviral options and are able to get them quickly, I have heard good things about Paxlovid. Co-worker's wife was very sick and within 24 hours of starting Paxlovid felt a lot better.

The county I live in was moved from green status to yellow last week. They are only updating info once a week now so I am just continuing to be super careful. I have to go to the orthodontist tomorrow and when I made the appt I asked if they could schedule me when they had the least amount of patients there. It's a big practice with lots of chairs in one room so I am pretty nervous about going.

Paxlovid may work but is significantly more expensive than ivermectin, which also works. Japan has been using ivermectin since it was first known it stops the virus. I also used it when I had covid.

If you can't get ahold of ivermectin and paxlovid is too expensive, you can also use black seed oil + quercetin + melatonin to stop the virus. Whatever protocol you use, always take high dose vitamins D, C and zinc with it to up your chances.

So did my family when they got it. They were better within 4 days. My father was the only one who refused to do it and remained ill for almost 3 weeks. He now has long covid, unfortunately.

Most people who get covid will not get it severely, but if you feel you are high risk then you should have the ingredients of a protocol ready at home to break out if you catch it. That was what I did.

The Atlantic just did piece about Paxlovid - Some people taking it test negative for a while and then rebound to positive covid tests a few days later. It's also reported to taste horrific.

My sister had the merck drug (I forget the name) - managed to get herself on a trial because she has obesity - and recovered from covid within a week, no lasting effects. But she was also vaccinated 4x, so it's hard to know what effect the drug had.
