Remestemcel-L for Refractory Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Colitis

Seems to be good intiative to avoid surgery. They have applied remestemcel-L directly on the inflammation during colonoscopy.

Thanks for info! Way back in Yesteryear when I got DXed (1980), I wondered why something beneficial to healing couldn't be sprayed within the colon while gastroenterologist was already "in there" via the blasted scope! It just seemed logical to me. [LOL?] / Old Hat (40+ yrs with left-sided UC; in remission taking Colazal)

Looks very promising. However, it doesn’t work with involvement of Crohn’s in small intestines.
