Still not feeling great despite minimal bowel issues. I have some joint, skin and eye stuff mildly going on as well. I'm on Imuran and Vedo. My FCP is normal and my blood work looks amazing except for a high MCV which presents at 100 at each blood test. My b-12 status is very good as are my folate levels but yet my MCV remains out of range. I'm aware that this could be the result of bone marrow suppression caused by Imuran.

Anyone else struggle with high MCV not a result pf b12 or folate deficiencies?

I believe 95 and below is a normal value for MCV, so you're only slightly out of range. Not something to be particularly worried about.

As UC patients, it's common for us to have slightly out of range MCH/MCV regardless of the meds we take. I'm always at the highest range of what's normal, or just out of range. From what my test results have said over the last decade or so. My gasteroenterologist said it's normal, nothing to worry about. I'm only on remicade atm.

What's going on? We have some barely/kinda/sorta anemic like blood results that don't need treatment

My MCV ranges between 95-100 ever since I started taking Imuran. My GI isn’t concerned for now as it is still generally within the normal range. He said anything 10% out of the normal value would make him want to test more or reevaluate my treatment plan or if I had multiple markers outside of normal he would be concerned. Don’t be afraid to ask your Dr what they think of your results. Mine is great about answering questions.

When I read the post title, my first thought was are you on Imuran? I'd check with your doctor just for peace of mind. Sorry you are still dealing with the joint and other issues.
