Stelera Side effects

hi, I’m just looking for some advice. I’ve been on Stelera for 8 months for my moderate to severe crohns. Pretty much straight away it worked miracles for my stomach. The first 4 month I had headaches nearly everyday but my IBD nurse told me that can happen and because I wasn’t going toilet 20 times a day to persevere and the side effects would settle. Now the last few months I still get headaches but not as often, but I feel so so tired all the time. This might be random but I feel like it’s aging me. I look pale and ten years older. My joints anche so bad. Even though it’s fixed my stomach I don’t feel myself anymore and I don’t know how much longer I can stay on this injection. I’m only 32 and feel so much older. Has anyone had similar side effects and do they ever stop ?

Hannah, you need to get some labs done besides checking for antibodies. Ask the dr to check your vitamin D level & B12. We do have a member named U B Tough that had issues with Stelara, she started taking Benadryl 2-3 days before her shot & 2-3 after the shot. This seemed to have worked for her.
