Arm pain/near elbow

Hello All,
Update-6 weeks post Stelara infusion:

It's been almost 6 weeks since I had my first Stelara infusion. I weaned myself off of the prednisone, because it seemed to be affecting me (besides the weight gain). Now my arm/elbow pain is back. I also feel a slight pain on my right shin (it was much worse before I started the steroid). It's just on the left side (feels muscular but it's near the elbow). No pain now on the right side. The lower back/tailbone pain is actually better. Because my new home job has me sitting all day, there is still some pain.

I have noticed that the mucous in the stool seems to be gone, so that is a positive. I just do not know what kind of doctor to go to for the arm pain (maybe start with an X-ray I guess with my pcp). By the way, I'm still taking the genetic Lialda when I can remember (not sure if it helps or not). Been under a lot of stress with this new job and my father getting a blood infection and ending up in the hospital. Stress seems to really do a number in my acid reflux. Also, I did get a rash behind my neck a couple of weeks after my infusion (felt like eczema). It only last about 2 weeks. The same thing happened after the Covid vaccine. Not sure if it's related or not. I will hopefully get a stool test soon to see if my numbers are lower.

Sara hit it on the head about seeing an orthopedic for your arm pain. Working from home can be great, but if your work station is not set up with good ergonomics it can cause a lot of problems. This can be the chair you sit in, height of the desk to the position of your body while sitting. Sitting long stretches is not good, you need to get up & move around.
