Prometheus labs $75 adjustment ended March 14th 2022

I've had a few tests done at Prometheus laboratories over the years. They'd send me a bill for $2,500, I'd call and they'd adjust it down to $75.

But the $75 program ended March 14th 2022.

I had a test down April 19th 2022 (1 month late) and now they are trying to get me to $650. It's pretty BS. Seeing if I can get it adjusted down further. The lack of transparency on these medical bills are absurd.

Okay, they reduced my April 19th bill down to $75. Hopefully that's the last of these bills at least while on Xeljanz.

What exactly did you say to get them to reduce it? Wondering because I just had my levels checked in February (which would be before the cutoff). The first time I had levels checked I saw they billed my insurance for $2500. Insurance denied it. But then I never received a bill so I guess they wrote it off. Haven’t seen anything come through yet for this time.
