Is UC an energy deficiency disease/Diversion Colitis

My main interest is diversion colitis,which I have solved.
Diversion colitis is basically an energy deficiency disease, main stream thinking.
Since no stool to supply nutrients. Also could be dysbiosis, or lack of bifido.
So what fixes my diversion colitis.
Feed the colonocytes cells from the blood supply.
Acetyl L Carnitine for longer chain fatty acid transport.
Sodium BHB for ketones,since no butyrate for fuel,therefore no beta oxidation from butyrate, also skips the butyrate beta oxidation step,which could be blocked for some reason,in UC.
Might be why short chain fatty acid enemas don't work that well if at all.
The colonocytes will also use acetate,and other longer chain fatty acids,if necessary.
Probably a good idea to add in some COQ10.
Very simple concept,does it work for UC,don't know.
PS: UC is gone after cut out small portion of rectum.

What dosages do you take for each supplement? and what brand of BHB are you using?

I think it helps to combine a low sulphur diet with active inhibitors of sulphate reducers. The best one seems to be Gynostemma pentaphyllum/Jiaogulan and combining this with Ganoderma lucidum/Reishi is probably optimum.

I use 3 X 4g doses of Reishi (water/ethanol dual extract) per day mixed with bilberry juice and ~ 10g/day dried Gynostemma made into tea and divided into 3 doses.

Interesting study about stress and IBD. Oddly, my flares never tended to coincide with the most stressful times of my life, other than when I first got UC. But I'm definitely a high stress person and have been so for my entire life.

Possibly covered already in the beta oxidation discussion but I was advised once that B2/Riboflavin supplementation was advisable for autoimmune issues. It seems riboflavin is involved in beta oxidation and is reduced by TNF alpha including in IBD. The advice was 50mg X 2 daily.

Side note: Years ago ate tons of pepto bismol did not cure me,but it soaks up a lot of H2s.
Just chewing pepto will make tongue turn black,indicates SRB even in mouth.
Once damage is done and beta oxidation inhibited,just lowering the h2s wont fix,I don't believe
Immune sys now activated,bacteria penetration,thin and not enough mucus,low coq10,
colonocytes weak.
Oh yea from years ago,remember the resistant starch threads,that also lowers h2s.

You guessed it. Will it fix a totally messed up colon,with high SRB,weak mucus,lots of TNF and nitric oxide

Son of a gun,part of the butyrate metabolic block,or is it most of it? Still believe you need to supply ketones
and possibly carnitine to feed the energy depleted colonocytes.
If you don't smoke then a real wild guess is that cyanocobalamin might supply a little cyanide for
hydrogen sulfide detox.

WAX: In the past have done bottles of zinc,pepto, have taken SAM-e but for different reasons.
Yes there is probably massive dysbiosis,thats why in on of the above links they used FMT in addition
to low sulfur diet. My hope is FMT not necessary, don't know. Good find on the Sam-e.
The coq10 is a large part of the detox process,which takes place in the mitochondria.
But if the cells have little fuel they cant do their job,thats where the ketones and carnitine come in.
We also still have an activated immune system which will be difficult to shut down.
Believe I have an old thread on molecular mimicry, or I have looked into it in the past.
I cant test this myself since I seem to be well.
Faceook is useless, important info gets buried in an hour.
Might put this info on reddit to see where that goes.

What I notice on facebook and reddit is failures on biologics, which is getting real scary.
There has got to be a way to fix UC,without all these meds.
Of course there also seems to be a genetic component which might be difficult
