So today is the day I’ve been waiting for with such anticipation! Not !!
Actually having endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow 8 am Double the fun !!
Doing the Gatorade /Miralax prep.
This is like my 10th scope. Lost count.
Just wondering if anyone else is prepping today?

I am not on Asacol anymore, I took it only briefly. I am currently taking Mezavant, another type of mesalamine.

I’m so hungry and miserable. Almost done with first bottle of Gatorade. I’m more than half way. I’m cheering myself on. lol
I also had a MRI Friday for my knee. I had never had one. I told the tech I think I’ll be happy to do the prep Sunday instead of the mri. lol. I think my knees are shot from prednisone. Anybody else have joint troubles from pred ?

Hi!! I’m finally coming to life. Mr doc gives me great sleepy meds. Everything went well. ! I’m good for 2 years. Yay me! Just wanted to let y’all know. Good luck to everyone on here.

Just thinking about a prep gives me anxiety...and my GI wants me to have one early next year. I can't drink Gatorade lemon anymore. I've never done the Miralax prep..that I remember. Is it over the counter?

Glad to hear the news is good on the scope! Late to this party but in case it’s useful at all…. A few years ago I read a post by a crohns patient / advocate about colonoscopy prep and her way of dealing with it. I have taken a few ideas from it for the last few scopes and have found them very helpful.
