Anyone taking litholyte?

Hi everyone: I have kidney stones and was told by doctor to take litholyte. I told him I have colitis but either he didn't think too much about that or isn't informed about magnesium and colitis. Just wondering as after 3 days of taking litholyte, I have watery bowels which I expected, but for 2 days, the palms of my hands and fingernails are blue. The blue does fade after awhile but nail tips stay blue. I do smoke (50 years) and know this may be contributing to the reason for bluing but I've never had this problem before the last 2 days.
