All I can say is she is awesome! I'm so glad that someone on here referred me to her. It was worth the 40 min. drive to find a GI that not only listened to me but seems very knowledgeable about
UC and specifically around UC and pregnancy. We are going to start trying for baby #2 in Feb., so I knew I needed to switch GIs before then. So glad I did. I go in for my first colonscopy in Jan. so I will need lots of encouragement when the time comes.
Just had to say, if you don't think your GI is good, SWITCH. Keep looking and even if it means driving farther it is worth it. She even gave me her e-mail address and said that she likes to "micromanage" her patiens. What a change from my old one who I was lucky if he returned my calls. There are good GI docs out there that know about UC and how to treat it. Keep looking!
