Humira and hot flashes and irregular menstrual cycle

I've been on Humira for several months now, and have started having hot flashes.  And I haven't had my menstrual cycle since July.  My blood test revealed an elevated FSH and LH, and a normal estrogen level. Pregnancy test is negative. I went through hot flashes and elevated hormones while on Remicade as well a few years ago. But everything stopped when I stopped the remicade. Anyone else have these side affects with these medications?  eyes

I only have been on Humira for about 3 weeks. I havent noticed any side-effects yet, except maybe fatigue. But that is probably due to late night gaming :)

Maybe you should ask your doctor. There is a huge laundry list of side effects and possible health problems related to Humira. Are you taking any other immune suppressors like pred, 6-mp?

I am also on immuran which I've been on for about 2 1/2 years now. I asked my GI doc, and he said he's not aware of any side effects that I've described. But since it's happened twice now, I'm assuming it's something to do with TN-alpha meds.

did you resolve those side effects? I missed already 3 cycles of my pms plus hot flashes and a few extra pounds. Did you experience these symptoms?
I'm going to see my doc this week to check whats going on. I'm 100% not pregnant though:(.

kknurse  I also have hot flashes. Been on humira 3 months, 1st hot flash was on the 1st injection[few hours after]. Last period was half a year before humira and no hot flashes ever before! Dr. says its not from humira. Am starting a blood pressure med to help the flashes but am experiencing dizziness.I want to know if your flashes have dissapeared, also wondering about 565.   Thanks kanada
