Thank you lanieG.
I thought I would let you all know that I did learn something from this forum. In reading past posts, I found one from Sarita that reads in part, "Your heart has four chambers. I like to think of it as a small house. There's an "upstairs" (right and left atria) and a "downstairs" (right and left ventricles). There are many areas that can "set the pace," so to speak, of your heart rate. The major pacemaker in the heart is the sino-atrial node (SA node) in the right atrium. If for some reason that node fails, there are back-up mechanisms in place to make sure the heart goes on beating. One is the atrio-ventricular node (AV node), which is situated pretty much right in the center of the house. If that fails, there are spots all over the ventricles (the "downstairs") that will then begin setting the pace. So you are very protected by your heart!
"
So there is a "bottom" chamber of the heart (actualy 2). I thought there was only a right and a left side. Thanks to Healingwell and Sarita, I know more now than before I made my post!
I would still like to know if anyone suffers the same symptoms as me and what their experience has been. Thanks in advance - teaman
