I had that happen a year ago. I really feel for you. Try not to be scared. Mine lasted 2 months like that. I went down to 115 lbs. because of it. I was too afraid to eat and was terrified from it. My heart would beat extremely fast and I would end up feeling dizzy after eating also. Almost felt like I had no ballance. I ended up in the hospital and did many tests which all came back normal. It did show that my heart rate was pretty fast, especially when standing and walking around. They didn't think anything of it though. A doctor in the ER put me on Atenolol which did help some. I saw a world known Cardiologyst and he lowered my dose because my heart rate and blood pressure went too low. I took the Atenolol until a couple months ago. I was also put on a very low dose (25 mg) Seroquel sometime in those first weeks. I believe those 2 medications got my heart and body back in ballance. Unfortunately, I still don't know exactly what was causing it and it still is in the back of my mind. I would deffinately get in to see a Cardiologyst to make sure something else isn't going on. Do you have any pain under your bottom left rib? I did and sometimes still do ever since then. They wanting to put a scope down my throat to check things out in my stomache and elsewhere, but at the time I was too terrified to let them. I wish I had a better answer for you and myself. All I do know is that it stopped. I think the meds and forcing myself to eat a lot more helped. Whatever you do...... keep eating. Don't do what I did and stop. That only made things A LOT worse and was harder for me to start eating again. Please let me know how you are doing.
