You said Bed ridden -I do not exercise
There is a good chance a few things are happening
1) Your salt intake is high and your water consumption is low
2) You need daily exercise, even if its just 30 minutes of walking
3) Eat food high in L-Arginine (unsalted Walnuts almonds, etc) a 1/4 cup a day will make a big diff
Read the sodium content of EVERYTHING you eat, do not use a salt shaker or add salt to anything. In most cases there is already plenty in our diets
Drink lots of water, whatever amount you feel is a lot, double it. Look at a gallon a day goal
Stop Coffee and Soda, high levels of caffeine can give you short bursts of HBP
You want to correct this asap to prevent thickening of the heart muscle, Benicar is very good for reversing thickening. There are also several other medication paths that you can take, but 1st try to get your diet to do this for you
