 I would like to let everyone know that Deltacece ( my cousin )-passed away last Friday ( 7-30-10 ) after a 10 year battle with Heart disease... sad  

 

 May you rest in Peace "CUZ"---I love you----

 Kitt I thank you MUCH for your reply and sentiments. I feel it'a a sad thing when my post had 90 views and I get ONE reply. mad

My cuz, Deltacece had not been able to be on line for a while but nonetheless she WAS a member. I am the one who encouraged her to sign up on HW as I've been a member for quite some time. Read some of her posts, even with her problems she tried to be a support to others. I am, quite frankly disappointed in the "HW family"..........Sandee

I did not know Delta  but I think when anyone dies it is a great loss and brings sadness to the family that loved them so much. I agree your  dear "cuz"  was a member of this forum and of the 90 people who viewed this post some may have not been members as anyone can read but not everyone can post.

However I feel some of the members with posting priveleges could have left you a word of kindness and caring so on behalf of HW,  I apologize for the absence of responses in your post. 

"Some people make the world special just by being in it." I believe that was Deltacece. Blessings and gentle hugs to you.

I am sincerely sorry to hear of the loss of your precious cousin. She fought the good fight for a longtime, but now she is no longer suffering and is at peace. No comfort for those of us left behind as we will miss them dearly. May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry, Sandee, by the lack of responses.  Sometimes people just aren't thinking clearly.  But, please accept my condolences.  I, too, didn't know Delta but know she is at peace and out of pain now.  Every life is precious and every loss hurts.  I hope your pain is easing and God is giving you peace.

So sorry for your loss Sandee! Just remember she is no longer suffering from her health. I will pray for you and your family to be able to deal with this the best you guys can! God bless you and your family!

Hi Sandee,

I too am so sorry for your loss. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. And you will have fond memories of your cousin. Keep her within your heart. I hope that you find solace in knowing that she is in a better place now. Know that we care.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...I didn't wish to be complaining to prompt anyone, was just disappointed and grieving.
As those who know me here on HW--I am a SURVIVOR of Crohns Disease--I've had 4 Major surgeries and sport an Illeostomy now.
Went from Colostomy to Illeostomy in Nov 2004. I don't chat or post here as often as I have in the past YET have made some great friends here that I DO consider "Family".................God Bless!!

I love your sense of humor. Sometimes things happen for a reason and you never know what that is going to be. But this really is a wonderful forum and I love to see people come together. For whatever reason. I hope that you know that we all care about you. And it is nice to know that there are still good people left in this world. I myself am so glad that I have joined this forum and have met some wonderful people here. With that being said, I just wanted to wish you a wonderful day.

Sandee, I have Crohn's and have an ileostomy, too!  I've had it nearly 21  years.  it was one of the best things I have done for myself.  I'm glad to see you have such a terrific attitude about it too.

Sandee, my condolences on the lost of your cousin.

I am standing on the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails in the morning breeeze and starts for the blue ocean.

She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until she is only a speck of white cloud where the sea and sky meet and mingle with each other. Then someone at my side exclaims, "She is gone."

Gone where? Gone from my sight, that's all. She is just as large in hull and mast and spar as she was when she left my side, and just as able to bear her load of freight. Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says, "She is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "There she comes!"

Sometimes it just takes people awhile (or they are not members), or that they do not know what to say. Little do they know that sometimes all they needed to say was I am sorry for your loss. But then again it seems like so little in the face of loss.

Thank you ALL for your replys-thoughts and prayers..I know that my "Cuz" was ready to meet her Maker and has had Peace for the last 10 years fighting her Heart issues. She was a Trooper through it all. I had the honor of going to Mississippi about 4 years ago and stayed a month with her....and at that time she was on Hospice....Though the "Specialists" said she had 6 months 10 years ago, she fooled them all. But then again---only the Good Lord holds those keys to WHEN it's TIME.....God Bless!!
