How to thin my blood without Warfarin

Hi I just got the news from my cardiologist that I have atrial Fib and premature atrial beats. He recommends Warfarin which I refused. Please help me find foods or supplements that can help thin my blood. Thanks

Take a look at vitamincfoundation dot org and research Pauling/Rath Unified Theory of Heart Disease. Also read Dr. Tom Levy's book "Stop America's #1 Killer".

Even after being on the Pauling therapy to reverse my atherosclerosis for 6 months(which it did) I still experienced arrhythmia and finally cured that with 800mg of magnesium citrate per day and 100mcg of selenium per day. I have not had one instance of arrhythmia in over a month and it's a wonderful feeling.

From your question, you obviously already know that drugs are not the answer. Search and keep learning and remember the Pharma Cartels are always fighting against vitamins and minerals and nutrients because they can't patent them and make billions selling them.

Your right I prefer the natural approach instead of drugs . Thank you for your reply. I will try Magnesium and selenium for my arrhythmia. I only have a few rare days with no arrhythmia and on those days I forget I have this condition. It is a wonderful feeling. I hope that I can get the results that you have found.

I just jopined this forum and am asking the same question.. had a Stroke in May, 3 weeks before my 60th birthday. I thought I was in perfect shape and self proclaimed Senior citizen MOtorcross Champion of the World. .. doctors says AFib not Dirt bikes caused my Stroke..

3 weeks ago i read this post and bought Magnesium and selenium..

llastt friday, I went to the VA hospital for my first appointment.. They tell me I am doing great, but EKG showed I have AFIB. BP 118/ 74  74 BBM.

VA doctor say I need more than Mag & selenium.  Just like my other Doctors insist I start Warafin or Pradaxa. 
I  have a script for Pradaxa, never filled it..   VA doc says every day is a roll of the Dice and chance of another stroke..

I feel fine, 2 months ago, a frinend gave me a few small bottles of Ultimate heart Formula he orders by Mail, contains liquid of COQ10, Natto & EDTA.  Label says it disolves blooad Clots,  eliminates artery blockages, improves blood pressure, normalizes irregular heartbeat, stops chest pains and palpitations..

My EKG shows I still have Afib, but nothing to drastic, so I dont know if this stuff is really working. Says it take 3 months

the only other thing I take is Metroprol (lopressor, Fish oil ) and 1 asprin a day.

STll waiting for the Natural cure..

My understanding so far is that many foods and substances that may have blood-thinning properties may not affect the INR, which is the only way of knowing whether you are in a safe range or not. There are several different pathways in blood coagulation, and they don't all show up in the INR. That's why things that contain salicylates, for example, like aspirin and some foods, will prevent your platelets from sticking and increase your risk of bleeding, but the INR will not reflect that. That's why people on aspirin therapy do not check their INR.

I would strongly suggest rethinking Coumadin.............talk with your Dr. to understand why this medication is necessary.

It seems to me that the alternative is blind trust, since there is no other method of checking blood coagulation.

Thnks for the information, but what is a INR>>??

This post was started about a year ago. I wonder if scriptures had any luck with finding a Natural cure.??

The INR is a test to determine the clotting tendency (coagulation) of blood and is most commonly used in monitoring the accuracy of blood thinning products such as warfarin. A person taking the anticoagulant warfarin (Coumadin) must be tested regularly to ensure their INR stays within a specific INR range - often referred to as a “target range”. A person is considered out of range when their INR result is higher or lower than what their physician establishes as their target range.

INR stands for: International Normalized Ratio. This is a professional term for a blood test to determine how much active warfarin (Coumadin) is in a patient at the time of the blood test.

Thnks for the info.. I am schduled to return to the VA hospital Oct 19 . Doc want me to take a blood test and will try to talk me into Comadin or Pradaxa if this Aspirin, natural foods, exercise and Suppliment stuff doesnt work.. I`ll keep you updated when I get the results..

I hope scripts is cured and has moved on to enjoying his life..??

Coincidence I hve been trying to thin my Bllod the natural way and   with Aspirin.. I did a reeally stupid thing today. Using a bow Saw I  was triming a  tree branch when the sharp blade ripped opened my wrist about 1/2 inch..  It   bleed for a few seconds and I noticed it clotted well, just a few hours later and I got a nice scab on top..  I guess thats not a good sign if ou got AFib.  I did eat some brocollii yesterday, but could it work that fast..??

Its been a long time since I last posted but thank God I am free of a-fib and am free of any arrhythmia! A new dr. an electro-physiologist , came to our hospital here in Canada and diagnosed me with atrial flutter and not a-fib . Apparently it takes a good specialist to determine the difference. But he gave me the drug flecinide which has cured me. However for 6 months I have been on aspirin 325 each day as a precaution, but I am now going to ask if it is still necessary as I have had no episodes for 6 months.

I pray you too can get a proper diagnosis.
