Hi all on the forum, i am 48 years old and from UK...I was diagnosed with Ventricle Tachycardia 3 years ago in June, i Just woke up one morning with palps and thought nothing of it.... I carried on getting ready for work but felt sluggish like i couldn't get my breath...my hubby called ambulance and we went to Emergency Room...they hooked me up to a heart machine for a while i felt very dizzy and these palps just kept going ...they put me on a holter monitor and i went home i felt really tired and just thought it was the plaps so i went to work...next morning i felt much the same but carried on went to work and my boss sent me home i felt terrible Breathless, Dizzy, and couldn't walk very far...to cut a long story short i ended up back in Emergency Room, they took the monitor off me and checked it and found i had VT episodes, the doctor brought the graph to show me but it didn't mean much to me because i had never heard of VT before...i ended up in Coronary Care for 2 days they wouldn't let me put a foot out of the bed..till they had done lots of tests...they then moved me to a Heart Ward...the out come is my Heart is structurally OK and there is no disease...it is the lower ventricles that are firing all over the place...i have been on Bisoprolol tabs for 3 years and keep having to have the dose put up because after so many mths the palps keep coming back. i had them the first time for 6weeks none stop!! now i am waiting for more tests to come back from the hospital as they have started up again i am on 7.5 of Bisoprolol at the min.
