forget the sleep apnea stereotypes and do yourself a favor and at least talk to a sleep doc. there are many stereotypes associated with sleep apnea. sleep apnea patients come in all flavors. some are infants. some are thin, fit young people that don't snore.
another thing is that everyone has apnea episodes to some degree. you must have 5 episodes per hour all night every night to be considered for cpap therapy. under that threshhold you are considered normal. so it is possible that you are having rare untreatable apnea episodes and nothing more. again, see a sleep doc to rule it out (or in).
