Have I been misdiagnosed with PVC?

about a year ago I started having PVC. No symptoms, just sometimes I would get it. I got checked by a general doctor and had an EKG that didn't detect any PVC but my heart looked normal. Few months later the heart palpitations increased and I went back to the Dr. and had another EKG done. I was diagnosed with PVC.

I was fine afterward. But NOW fast forward another 1-2 months and I'm starting to feel odd. I have been getting dizzy spells, feeling like I'm going to faint, shortness of breath, and I feel like I can't focus. I'm so scared. I don't know if I should go spend $600-700 on a cardiologist walk in cuz I don't have enough money or insurance but better safe than sorry right?

I have palpitations all day throughout the day. Sometimes I have palpitations without noticitng it and not having symptoms. Sometimes I do have symptoms. Sometimes my heart beats around 68 bpm, 70, or 80ish.

Michelle, Sounds like your blood pressure is dropping, but I am only speculating. That is what started happening to me after a year of pvc's and pac's. How is your blood pressure? Make sure you keep well hydrated that is the first thing I was told for low blood pressure. I was put on beta-blockers for my pvc's, but it dropped my blood pressure more and it made my dizziness , fainting symptoms worse, my cardiologist took me off all meds at that time and scheduled me to consult with a electrocardioligist for an ablation.
Don't take your symptoms lightly, get back into the Doctors. Better safe than sorry.

I think my bp is done. I have a machine for it. Beats me... But I'm going to a cardiologist tomorrow. It will cost an arm and leg for me but I guess it's worth it. They will be doing another ekg test and stress echo. I feel like maybe a blood test is needed

So I had an echocardiogram and EKG done today. My heart is fine and everything looks good. Same diagnosis...PVC just as a nuissance with some extra beats. They told me that it's nothing to worry about. Well that's a relief. They put me on beta blockers so we'll see...

Keep us posted on the beta blockers. I am taking Lisonpril for blood pressure. Although at one time I was taking atenolol to control my blood pressure. At that time I did not know about it being a beta blocker.

I am glad your report from the Dr. was positive.  Now, have you ever talked with your family Dr. re anxiety which can cause many of the same symptoms and of course when you have the PVCS your worried and then your on the anxiety wheel of " what ifs?"

Jump off that merry-go-round and practice some deep breathing when your feeling anxious.
