zaps in chest

Has anyone experienced a zapping type feeling that radiates out from your chest when having a PAC? I especially get this at night when I'm laying down, and is extremely uncomfortable.

Laura,

Do you have a heart condition? I have not heard the term zaps from people that experience PACs. Twinges, sharp, or burning pain has been a concern by others.

Perhaps another member will have more to offer you.

Also if this problem continues to plague you, do see your Dr.

Hmm...maybe zaps wouldn't be an accurate description. Yes, I had SVT, and had an ablation for it on May 15, and was told it would take 1-2 months for everything to heal. I've always had Pac's and Pvc's, but these feel different. I did go to the er a few days after because I was concerned about it, and the said they were PAC's. I don't know if they're just more pronounced at night because my pulse rate is slower, or what. Maybe twinges would be a better name for them. I do go back on June 24 for the month follow up, but seeing as that's still over a week away, I thought I'd ask on here. I do have to say that I suffer from anxiety, mainly due to the on going shenanigans with my heart. Thanks Kitt.

Laura--HOLY COW--!

Good thing I checked in--not been on in awhile- confused YES..I do get the "zaps"--!   Feels like an electric current passing thru..my heart smhair I finally did feel a couple,,WHILE I had the MCOT recorder on..(the 24 hr  Telephone monitored recording)

When.I did feel them..& hit the button,..to show the Cardios...What I was experiencing,,they showed up merely,,as  PACs...not even,,,an SVT,,(THEM..I can feel as a  "run of beats)-

These things feel almost like you would feel..if you bit on "Aluminum foil....with a metal filling,,,right..?

Anyway--glad I am NOT alone---These things were driving me..nuts! sad     Get back--Rob (Wotan)
