RF ablation for atrial flutter

on tuesday i had a TEE followed by a catheter ablation for atrial flutter the next day i was asked to do a treadmill stress test prior to being prescribed medication does anyone think a stress test so soon after the procedures was counter productive or am worrying about nothing

I really don't have the answer to your question - however - I am wondering if your physician explained why they were performing the stress test so soon.

A stress test so soon. It is usually only given months down the track. Ask Why?

Please let me know-I have had 2 ablations. I am yet to do a stress test post ablations.

You must always ask questions.
