Hi Pat
Like Teri hope you are haveing a relaxing Sat. Ok I have have hypothyroidism and also Hashimotos thyroiditis they auto immune kind where your thyroid atacks the thyroid itself. First have yuo have a thyroid test to see if it is low with yur TSh level, tsh 4 and tsh 3 and your tigers checked out too.
For if you are on medicine yuor endocringologist should be testing yur thyroid every 6 months to make sure it is staying level and not to high or to low. either way affects our heart disease and makes it worse. I have had 2 heart attacks and have CHF and anginia too. Now back to thyroid watch the foods you eat too the goitrogennic foods. broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, any greens and then
donot take antacids containing aluminum and magnesium types nothing with iron in it till after 30 min of takeing yur medicine.
I myself was told take my synthroid on an empty stomach and nothing for 15-30 min then rest of my meds too. NOw for yuor heart beats and PV's if your pulse and breathing and heart rate is rapid yuo are probably HYPER not HYPO for HYPO is low and HYPER Is high. and please ask yuor PCP todo a complete thyroid panel and if yuo are on medicine take it same time each day and on an eempty stomach and be careful for either type that is not well controlled affects all our body organs and our heart too. It can send me into CHF faster so i se my endocringolosit every 6 months Pat. Best of luck I am here if you ned to ask thyroid questions like i said I am 49 and have had it since age 12 .
