Maverick16,
Here is a page that helped me a lot, the page is by an Electrophysiologist, a Cardiologist that specializes in the Electrical System of the heart. He explains some things about
PVCs, offers reassurance, but incredibly, he says that the procedure used to stop persistent rhythm issues, in the case of otherwise benign PVCs, wouldn't even need to be considered until the patient had 20,000/day.
www.drjohnm.org/2013/06/benign-pvcs-a-heart-rhythm-doctors-approach/My last Holter showed 6000/24 hrs, so in those terms even if I experienced 3 times as many as now, I'd still have room to spare before the procedure would be considered necessary. Many people experience thousands of these a day and have no awareness of them at all, what bliss. Others have 50 a day and they can't handle it.
The biggest trigger for mine is adrenaline, meetings at work, (I was a union rep, I'm talking meetings with supervisors where tension oozed out of everyone's pores), my heart was a mess. Guess what, I'm getting 6000 PVCs a day now, especially when I swallow food or lay down to sleep (each formerly associated with pleasant things) and they scare the hell out of me. So in return, my body supplies the fight or flight substance known as adrenaline, which cause me to have more of them, which scares me more, which releases more adrenaline, which causes more and so on.
I think you'd be relieved if you saw your doctor or cardiologist, with some testing, knowing there's nothing wrong is better than hoping there's nothing wrong. There's a chance they won't even want more tests.
