PVCs, PACs and a NEW Heart Murmur

Hello everyone,

I've been suffering from PVCs and PACs (mainly single and some couplets and triplets) for a couple of years now and a few days ago a cardiologist told me I have a heart murmur. I've never had a heart murmur in my life, not even as a toddler or a kid.

I just had a PVC that felt like I just took a bullet in the chest (on the middle-right side). It was a huge thump that took my breath away (I really tried to breathe but I couldn't). It was so bad that I felt like it was going to kill me or make me pass out. So scary... Anyone else get PVCs that feel so bad?

Why would I suddenly get palpitations and a NEW heart murmur in my 20s?

hello,

you experience PVCs ... some I get are like what you describe.
it is uncomfortable, but if you have been tested and cleared by doctors, you should not worry. some of mine are intense, they thud, thump, flip, they run wild, they roll over....all of these weird wild sensations....very scary and annoying....it is a helpless feeling, disruptive. just hang in there....they will eventually let up..
