It may sound like a stupid question, but for a few weeks I have had unusual sensations in the left half of my chest. I haven't felt any pain, and the sensations only last a few seconds when they happen.
The sensation can feel like a quick catch or a slight "poking" feeling. I have felt a tingly sensation before and last Sunday I felt a few seconds of what felt like slight heart burn (though it was toward the left side of my chest so I started worrying that it might have been angina.)
However, everything I've read says angina is usually quite painful or uncomfortable. I've also read that if it lasts less than a few minutes it is likely not angina.
Also, I do suffer from anxiety disorder, so it is possible that a lot of this is in my head. There was one week where I felt a "pain" in the right side of my abdomen. I spent a week thinking I had appendicitis and just knew I kept feeling it. Eventually, I figured out that I did not.
In this case, while my mind is telling me this is likely not angina and if I had it I would likely know it, I also think "what if it's like some sort of pre-angina feeling?"
