I am having days of what feels like flips, flutters, flops and missed beats in either my left side by my ribs or left chest.
In the past, I have had holter monitors, (even a month long one), blood work, echocardiogram and EKG.
Lately, I've been planning my daughters wedding with only two months to do it.
So, I have been stressed from it I guess.
Sometimes I get tightness and pressure in my neck and moody like crying.
Anyway, I went to the family dr the other day feeling very upset with the palpitations.
He examined me and said my heart sounded great, my blood pressure is good, and he pulled out the last two ekg's I had and said they were fine.
He said he thought it was all from anxiety.
He gave me a prescription for Xanax if I need to calm down.
I also have low b12 I'm taking a supplement for, and I tried to get off my estrogen patches, but now I'm back on them. (I also get hot especially at night), and I'm fatigued sometimes.
I also have gerd issues.
I guess I keep thinking there is something wrong with my heart.
Weeks ago, my daughter and I were disagreeing about the wedding, but now everything is ok between us.
So, I think it's not anxiety!
Can anxiety be truly causing these palpitations and can they last for days frequently?
I have felt like going to the ER, but I don't have insurance, and my husband says I don't need to.
I just want them to stop.
Opinions???
