2 stents,after heart attack,

This is a fairly slow forum compared to the Prostate Cancer one of which I am also a member (unfortunately)
6 months ago I had a heart attack followed by a cardiac arrest and was fitted with 3 stents.
I was certainly doing quite a bit more than you are at your stage, however, everyone is different in both recovery and amount of heart damage they have suffered.
Yesterday I completed a nuclear stress test and I am hoping that the results will give me more indication of how much I can push myself.
An excellent forum of which I am a member is the cardio athlete site on Facebook. A members only, however truly informative and inspirational.
Continued walking increasing slowly in distance and intensity seems to be one of the best things you can do.
If you are really worried, perhaps an appointment with your cardio may sort things out.
I have also been seeing an exercise physiologist which has been very helpful.

Hi status quo & welcome to the forum. So sorry to read what you are dealing with. I am not sure of your age but keep up with the walking the best you can. Does your dr say the reason you are still struggling is a result of all of this or what?

My daughter's very best friend had to have both a fib & pacemaker put in. She is now 45 years old, this was 3 years ago. She started feeling bad & finally went to her dr & he sent her to a cardiologist & had testing done. No history of heart problems. Her husband found the very best heart surgeon he could find in Dallas to do the surgery. She did wonderful & does anything she wants to do.
