How long should i check for ct scan

Hello guys. I have a simple question. How long i should get checked for chest ct scan ? I got checked last year but i want to check again i mean can a cancer growth in 1 year. I'm male,20 year old non smoker

Hi Roger & welcome to Healing Well. You said you had a Ct done last year, why was one done & what did it show? Also, what did your dr say about when to repeat the scan?

My last ct scan showed normal. But i wonder that what can happend in 1 year ? I have axiety and worry about my body so much because everything seem to be darker when i have a lot of disease last year that make me always feeling sick and worry sad. Now i'm afraid i have a cancer in my chest because i had shortness of breathand chest pressure last week but today i feel nothing. Can anything happen to me my mind never rest, it keep worry from anything sad

hi, sounds like some health anxiety going on. panic & anxiety forum has good stuff to help.

in the meantime, you are clear, sounds more like a panic episode. distraction is key. do not dr. google, you will dx yourself with the plague!!!
it is common to feel worried, espec ially when ya been sick with other stuff, but this just sounds like some anxiety, and this is a common thing as they are like heart probs, but are not. when my thinking goes awry i stick me head under the cold shower for 30 seconds, the cold shocks us back, and helps the synapses, this is scientific, esp with cold water therapy. ice in the hands too is a good one. keep well.
