Hi John & welcome to the forum. As far as restrictions go what has the cardiologist advised you about
activities? If the pressure in the neck is something new discuss it with the dr. Your cycling is a great source of exercise so you do not want to stop that unless the dr advises you to do so. The job situation well can you afford to be without an income until you can find something else? A good diet & exercise is a must.
Take care.

I haven't seen the cardiologist in 2 months. I had an appointment scheduled for a few weeks ago but I missed it. When I first saw the doctor he gave me no restrictions and told me to keep on taking the baby aspirin I was already taking. I think he was completely wrong in that decision. Everyone seems to take time off and take high dose ibuprofen. Now that I know this I feel hopeful I can get better. I have an appointment but it's a month from now. I'm going to have to quit my job which is going to be rough but it must be done at this point so I can get better. I have constant labored breathing and work was starting to be real tough. Really can't go on like this.

ask for any vacancies with cardiologist, alike yourself, who have missed an appt. gp's are not that well versed with tickers. keep strong. talk 2 boss, time off? no harm in asking.

I did ask but they're all booked and only
open Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Going to see if I can get medical leave. If not I have to quit. Thanks for the replies.

medical leave sounds like a good option, as you may recover quite quickly with the correct treatment.
