Hello,
I have posted here about myself, as well as the other conditions, ( I am all over the place..lol)
I have a concern regarding my 16 year old daughter. She has told me last night that upon laying down, she feels heaviness in her chest, which makes her breathing feel off, and it is relieved upon sitting. She also experienced heart racing upon standing and walking into the kitchen. This happened several times last night, as I felt it for myself. I took her blood pressure which was normal. I am concerned about what this could mean. I was thinking acid reflux as far as the chest heaviness upon laying down. I am a sufferer myself. But the heart racing upon standing and walking into the kitchen concerns me. She does not get a whole lot of exercise. She spend a lot of time on the couch as I work full time and can not afford camp for her, nor does she want to go to one. I get on her about exercising, but she does not get around to dong it. She is normal weight she is 5'3 and about 125 lbs. I took her to her pediatrician about 8 months ago for an episode she had in the shower of extreme heart racing and flashing in her eyes and feeling faint. They chalked it up to a panic attach as she does have extreme anxiety especially when it comes to school at times. She is shy and quiet and only has one good friend whom she does not ever get together with as her friend is not able to.
I am just looking to see if anyone has heard of this. I appreciate any feedback!
