I read up on the pericarditis..sounds like that is what it is..in the fairly early stages. As I have only had this for one month now. I have not been sick this winter but my Husband has had his share of illnesses. The last one he was terribly sick with a high fever, no energy, lack of app..coughing spells no one wants to go through. I did NOT catch it even tho I was here with him. I have not had an EKG or stress test. They are doing the CT scan this Friday. We are only 50 miles from the Mayo Clinic here in MN..I also read that some seziure med's will cause this but the one I am on was not listed. 500 mg. of Depakote a day. I am going to print the info out & bring it to the Dr..He may or may not like it..But I know my body & I know there is something wrong in there. Thank's for pointing me in the right direction!!
