Mr. Tudo,

The very latest and greatest SIXTY FOUR SLICE CORONARY ARTERY CT SCAN does not care about the previous reports. Pay attention to the "64 slice" part though. I had one this past February and it was 100% accurate as verified by a follow up cath within 4 days.

You are young and the radiation dose with these new scans is significant, as the doctor mentions above. I had no idea, but at age 53, I am less likely to develop cancer from ionizing radiation as compared to a younger individual. (I don't have the time left, lol)

Thanks RJ, when it was all said and done, they did not have a 65 slice machine and told me they could not help if they did not have previous post op reports. I asked them what would I have received had I not told them of the recent stress test, an inaccurate ct scan? They didn't seem to like that question and I terminated the conversation shortly thereafter when I realized it was a waste of time. The double talk was incredible.

:-)  HiTurbo, why can't you get the info they want and take it to them.  i am scheduled to do  one of those tests where they inject you and do a stress test, i am a little scared of that, is that one dangerous at all? i have had a regulare angio gram, then angioplast, do not know what to expect, but if aldo is sure i won't get cancer too quickHa HA (i am 59) i would really like to try the 64 slice myself, sounds like a huge blast of radiation though.

I made an appointment to get a second opinion at Cleveland Clinic.

2 weeks from now.
