Hey Neurogurl, As you know I have several issues...with my MS it took 6 weeks for a diagnosis which is pretty quick for that kind of diagnosis but I did have a brain biopsy done as my first lesion was abnormally large.
With my heart issues (sick sinus syndrome, bradycardia, vent. septil defect, orthostatic hypotension) they are also brought on by a neurological condition called multiple system atrophy. I first started having symptoms in Aug 05 and was officially diagnosed with the disorder in Jan 06. I do truely believe that my quick diagnosis in this one was due to my having some excellent doctors who were able to pull some strings and get me into one of the top autonomic disorder hospitals in the country (Vanderbilt University in Tenn). They do a lot of research on these kinds of problems.
