Hi to everybody . I'm new here. I'm in a wheelchair 6 yrs. after thorasic spine surgery. In February of this year I had to be hospitalized for a bleeding problem from the stomach or colon; they never found the source.Been in there 6 times so far this year for same thing and always with blood transfusions cause my blood was so low. In feb., they tried to give me heart caths in both legs and couldn't get into the artery,so they had to go thru my right arm. That was the 1st. of Feb. and by the end of that month I started having severe groin pain and finally into both thighs. Soreness into the muscles started very severe. It has never abated ,only got worse. i can't walk and can only transfer from bed and onto toilet.I went to the internet to find some answers and I came up with possible femoral or nerve damage from them trying to push the cath into my leg arteries that were obviously too clogged to get into. Has anybody been thru this sort of thing and will you or can you help me know what to do with this. The reason I can't walk has nothing to do with the recent caths, but to the surgery on spine 6 yrs. ago,so don't get me wrong on that, but it sure made my situation a lot more complex. Thanks for any and all help guys. With love, mayy.
