Dilated Cardiomyopthy & Low Blood Pressure

I have Dilated Cardiomyophthy a Biventricular Pacmaker and ICD. and an EF of between 20% and 25%.

I have trouble with with drugs like coreg and avapro, because my blood pressure drops to low.

Are there many medications that can raise blood pressure to allow larger doses of the kind of drugs?

The meds like coreg and such are to keep your heart working in low gear. (so you can run steady and sure like the tortoise) Taking something to get a boost is defeating the medicine's purpose, and may likely have a very bad result. I have the same condition (40%) and a pace/defib also. The most difficult thing for me is that I cannot do everything that I used to do. I don't know how long you have been on these meds, but it took me a long time to adjust and get reaquainted with my "new" self.
