Plavix use?

I usually post on the Ulcerative Colitis board, but now I have a question that needs your expertise.

My husband had angioplasty and 3 stints placed yesterday, and has been prescribed Plavix. Does anyone know if it makes a difference whether you take it in the morning or evening? His other meds are: Terazosin, Lotrel, Toprol XL, Zocor, Metformin, and Glipizide ER.

Lol, Rona, we UC-ers meet in the strangest places, don't we? Thanks for the info. I have a tendency to assume everything is as complicated as our UC meds, when some things are actually pretty straightforward.

I just received a stent placement this December and was started on a number of new drugs. Since my prostate cancer I have always used the web site "MedicineNet.Com" to research my Meds. It is written by Pharmacist and Reviewed by Doctors. It is an excellent site, it will give you starting dosages, side effects, when to take it, ect. I have found when you have a question about Meds call a Pharmacist that is their field of expertise.  I had a Doctor who was not sure about a drug interaction and he called a Pharmacist while I was sitting there.
