Catheter Ablation for SVT

I have svt and I had cathdar ablation.its worth it.the procedure itself is a piece of cake but after you will feel very worn out like you got hit by a mack truck.stay off stairs and rest for week or two.they said you don't usually have pain after but I did little in heart but mostly in my legs where they went in.and when I made quick movements in legs.be careful for the incision sites.watch them.I had a huge bruise that had some dark spotts like reddish/purplish area. I kept asking people in my house but everyone said oh its fine.trust your instinct and keep checking it ok.if u have doubt go get it checked.because I ended up in hospital for a wk a month after my procedure for pulmonary embolism(blood clot) in my lung. They said it prob came from leg where they went in where that briuse was.so just keep an eye on the sites where they go in.not sure in your case cuz sometimes they can go thru your arms.good luck with everything.I only had 2 attacks befor I had it done.haven't had it since but I've been having pvc's and might be going in for a 2nd ablation and the meds aren't working to stop them so we'll see what happens.but you'll be glad you had ablation cuz u can pass out from svt and it can also be fatal from the research I did.so let me know how it goes.remember...no stairs and rest.
