This is my first post.
I had a positive EKG & Stress Test in August. Friday I was told I had had a slight/silent heart attack.
I had an Echo and my Dr. told me I had a mass in the fluid sac around my heart. Tomorrow. I am scheduled for a CAT Scan. My question is, if the mass has to come out, how is it removed? I was so shook up when he gave me the information, I did not ask the questions I should have. I could not reach him. He is on vacation until Friday.
I am worried, scared, and frightened. It is not knowing that is causing these emotions. There is heart disease in my family. 
Any help I could receive would be appreciated.
