Hi, have not posted in forever. My husband has CP. We leave on Tuesday for Cleveland. He has surgery scheduled for this upcoming Friday. Dr. Lytle is scheduled as his surgeon. Scared and excited moment at the same time! It will be nice to finally get this whole thing over with and behind us. Anyone have this procedure done recently? How long did your recovery take? He thinks he will be up and running in no time! Just like his Angiogram. He wants me to return home directly after his surgery. Once he comes out and all is well. Keep things running smoothly, with our life, at home. He says that will make him feel better. He is scheduled to stay in the Hospital for 5 days. Then he has one full day at a hotel before they will clear him to fly home. How capable do you think he is able to travel home on his own after surgery and discharge. I am thinking.... he is NOT, going to be able to do that as easy as he thinks. We live in California- so it is not an quick and easy journey to and from Ohio.
