My daughter is only 18yrs old and has had pericarditis for a number of years,it keeps getting worse., what is the youngest that a pericardectomy has been performed?

Hello and Welcome to HealingWell. I have read of children as young as 16 having a pericardiectomy. I do not know what the youngest age has been.

If you are having doubts re this procedure please do seek a second opinion for your daughter. I understand your concerns.
