Glad to find you! I will be having a pericardectomy for constrictive pericarditis, and I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has had open heart surgery as a result of an ongoing congenital heart defect. More specifically, I have Ebstein's Anomaly (one of perhaps 40 congenital heart defects, and a rarer one) and had my tricuspid valve repaired at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester) in 2003. If anyone has encountered pericardial constriction as a result of their original congenital heart surgery and has had a pericardiectomy for constrictive pericarditis, please write with any helpful details and tips you are able to share. Thanks so much! EbHeart
